Ledet Love and Laughter: Keeping up with the Ledets

So, here we go again. I think that I am going to try blogging once again. I enjoy reading other family blogs, so why not do one of our own. It will also be nice to have and look back upon the many memories that were made throughout each year. I guess I will start out with a recap of some valuable events of 2010.

Hayden started Kindermusik. He has enjoyed it very much. The parent and child get to go and communicate with other kids and parents. We sit in a circle and sing songs and play with different instruments.

He also gets to go with his best buddy Collins.

My little sister Elicia and my mom's dance teacher Julie talked me into dancing at the dance recital this year, so I started taking dance lessons again and loved it. I also decided to take care of my little heart problem and had cardiac ablation surgery done in May. The surgery went great and I have not had to take my beta blocker since the surgery.

Ryan and I attended both of our 10 year high school reunions. Wow, how time flies! We both thouroughly enjoyed catching up with our classmates and meeting their families. In June, we embarked on a DisneyWorld trip with all of my sisters and my parents. What a crazy, fun-filled trip. Here are a few pics:

Summer of 2010, Emily & Patrick bought a new house, with a swimming pool. Needless to say, their house became the hangout. Hayden loved getting in the pool at Aunt Emmy's house. Also, my younger sister, Elicia graduated from college, moved to Lafayette and started a new job. We are so very proud of her, but we do miss her being around. The month of September was eventful for us, Hayden started at a new school and turned 2! My how quickly he has grown up. He has brought such joy and love to our lives. What a sweet blessing from God. The end of 2010 was fast moving and filled with exciting news. Baby Ledet #2 is on it's way. Due July 1, 2011. We were so excited to recevie this news. Another sweet blessing from God. I took my yearly trip to Chicago for work and then we had Devin & Lisa's wedding in New Orleans. Hayden did a great job as the ring bearer. I was one proud mommy! It was such a fun weekend and we are so excited for the two of them. They are such a sweet couple and deserve all the best.

Hayden had a fun visit with Santa this year. He was too funny. He would not sit in his lap, but Santa had a cute idea and then Hayden came up with the second idea all on his own. Silly boy!
