St. Patrick's Day and other fun times in March.

March has been pretty good so far, Cohen and I are both healthy and well.  Hayden is a ton of fun and all over the place.  It is so nice to enjoy the beautiful weather outside.  He has started to say, "no" a good bit.  I have been trying to be patient, but he does not listen to Mommy as well as Daddy.  He sure does like to test me.  He has had many visits to the corner.  Other than that, he is such a good kid and I know this is just a phase he is going through.  He has been going to the potty and wearing his pullups.  He will go when we put him on the potty, but still hasn't figured out when to tell us he has to go.  At least we are making some progress.  It would be great if he is out of diapers before Cohen arrives.  Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.  We have only had one person come look at the house.  Doesn't seem to be any interest.  I am not stressing, because I know God has a plan for us.  We have a roof over our heads and a healthy family.  Hard to complain about that.  Since we have the storage unit, we have more room now.  Ryan and I started a couples bible study for lent with my cousin Ashley's church.  It has gone really well so far.  The study is on how to read the bible.  Ryan and I have already learned more about reading the bible and have enjoyed this time together.  We are feeling very grateful these days.

St. Patrick's Day cutie!

He decided he wanted to wear his dress shoes around the house.

At the park, playing with Dad.

This is one of my favorite videos of Hayden singing "Amazing Grace".  We sing this every night before bed, that is why it is dark and you cannot see him, but the sweet voice is wonderful.

Fun at the Mardi Gras parade.

Baby Cohen

I went by CLIC yesterday and was able to get another little peak at baby Cohen. He was much more photogenic this time. It is still amazing to see your little blessing moving around inside of you. I can't wait to see what he looks like and to just hold and love on him.

Already love this sweet face.

Looks like he is praying.  Sweet little boy.

Look at that thigh!

Had to throw this sweet picture of Mr. Hayden.  He was in such a good mood the other morning.  I love this little smile.  It just melts my heart.

The end of February

We went to Boogaloo, which is one of our favorite Mardi Gras events to attend.  Instead of having to get formals and tuxedos, you can just arrive casual.  They usually have a great band and it is a ton of fun.  The night got cut short because Mr. Hayden decided to get sick.  Poor baby started running a fever and vomited.  Of course, it ended up being strep throat.  Dr. Marzullo said if he gets it again in the next few months, we will have to see the ENT about having his tonsils removed.  We are just keeping our fingers crossed that he will not get it again.  Here are a few pics from Boogaloo before I left.

      The Sweet Hubby and I!

My awesome sisters!  We sure do miss Amy!

Last Saturday was such a pretty day, Allison and I took the boys to Kees park to play.  They were all over the place.  They had such a great time.

He is growing up so fast!
No fear going down the slide!

Best buddies playing in the dirt.

Baby Cohen is growing just fine.  I had my 20 week checkup and everything seems fine.  I also had the ultrasound where they check his organs and anatomy.  He is one healthy little boy.  He was not very photogenic for us, but here is a pic of his little face looking up at us.  I can't wait to see what he looks like in person!

Here is a video that I couldn't not post.  Hayden is singing his favorite new song, "The Ants Go Marching."

Valentine's Day

We had a very sweet Valentine's Day.  I was able to go to Hayden's little party at school.  He is just such a character.  He loves anything to do with Toy Story these days.  So, of course, his favorite candy at this party was a blue "Buzz Lightyear" sucker.  These days, we have been getting the house ready to go on the market.  We officially put a sign in the yard on the 12th.  We are excited and nervous.  Please say a prayer that we can sell it on our own.  We have also come up with a name for Ledet baby #2, Cohen Ryan Ledet.  He seems to be doing great.  By all of his movements, he may be a little soccer player.  My belly has finally popped a little bit and I'm finally looking pregnant and not just fat.  I hate the stage where people that don't know that you're pregnant, just think you're fat.  Here are a few Valentine's pics and also a video of Hayden singing his ABC's.

Keeping up with the Ledets

So, here we go again.  I think that I am going to try blogging once again.  I enjoy reading other family blogs, so why not do one of our own.  It will also be nice to have and look back upon the many memories that were made throughout each year.  I guess I will start out with a recap of some valuable events of 2010.

Hayden started Kindermusik.  He has enjoyed it very much.  The parent and child get to go and communicate with other kids and parents.  We sit in a circle and sing songs and play with different instruments.

He also gets to go with his best buddy Collins.

My little sister Elicia and my mom's dance teacher Julie talked me into dancing at the dance recital this year, so I started taking dance lessons again and loved it.  I also decided to take care of my little heart problem and had cardiac ablation surgery done in May.  The surgery went great and I have not had to take my beta blocker since the surgery.

Ryan and I attended both of our 10 year high school reunions.  Wow, how time flies!  We both thouroughly enjoyed catching up with our classmates and meeting their families.  In June, we embarked on a DisneyWorld trip with all of my sisters and my parents.  What a crazy, fun-filled trip.  Here are a few pics:

Summer of 2010, Emily & Patrick bought a new house, with a swimming pool.  Needless to say, their house became the hangout.  Hayden loved getting in the pool at Aunt Emmy's house.  Also, my younger sister, Elicia graduated from college, moved to Lafayette and started a new job.  We are so very proud of her, but we do miss her being around.  The month of September was eventful for us, Hayden started at a new school and turned 2!  My how quickly he has grown up.  He has brought such joy and love to our lives.  What a sweet blessing from God.  Here are a few pics from his 2nd birthday party at Aunt Emmy's house.

The end of 2010 was fast moving and filled with exciting news.  Baby Ledet #2 is on it's way.  Due July 1, 2011.  We were so excited to recevie this news.  Another sweet blessing from God.  I took my yearly trip to Chicago for work and then we had Devin & Lisa's wedding in New Orleans.  Hayden did a great job as the ring bearer.  I was one proud mommy!  It was such a fun weekend and we are so excited for the two of them.  They are such a sweet couple and deserve all the best.

Hayden had a fun visit with Santa this year.  He was too funny.  He would not sit in his lap, but Santa had a cute idea and then Hayden came up with the second idea all on his own.  Silly boy!

Hope everyone had a great 2010, we are looking forward to a wonderful 2011.

8 months

He loves his new swing!!

His first teething biscuit. They are a mess.

Well, I guess I will try this blogging thing once again. Our lives have been consumed with a special little someone. I do not have as much time on my hands like before. We will see how all of this goes.

Hayden is 8 1/2 months old now. He just started pulling up last week. He gets so excited and proud when he does it! It is too cute. We also, just found his eighth tooth! They are just popping out like crazy. He is trying to crawl. He gets up on all fours and rocks back & forth. He is scooting backwards though. We are about to have our hands full! He is saying ma ma & ba ba (bye-bye), and trying to say all other sorts of things. Next week he gets to see his cousins Ava & Blake. I am sure he will be crawling by the time they leave!

Hayden has arrived!

I am sorry it took me so long to update this website. I have been adjusting to having a little one around the house. Anyway, we were blessed with Hayden on Sept. 12 at 5:29 pm. He was 6lb 6oz and 19.5 inches long. I was induced at 7 am and was in labor all day. I ended up having a section that afternoon. Everything went fine and our little miracle was born. Ryan did great throughout the whole day(he made sure not to peak around during the section though).

This first month has been full of surprises and challenges for us. I am breastfeeding and it was tough at first, but we have the hang of it now. Hayden has grown so much already! It is so neat to see his new expressions and reactions. He had his 1 month checkup yesterday and weighed 8lb 12oz. He was 22 inches long. He got his 2nd Hepatitis shot and he will go back in a month and receive his other shots. We are doing well, even with the lack of sleep. I will try to update more often. Hope everyone is doing good.
